AIL FUNDS MANAGEMENT TEAM
Nicholas is a highly qualified accountant who joined AIL in 2006. He brought with him an excellent knowledge of taxation legislation, including Income Tax, Fringe Benefits Tax, GST, Superannuation and Payroll Tax. He is also well versed in the preparation of statutory financial statements. He is client focused and result orientated. Nicholas was previously employed at C W Stirling &Co., a firm of Charted Accountants. He was part of their senior management team for many years and was involved in the provision of a diverse range of specialist accounting services. Nicholas has a Bachelor of Business-Accounting from Swinburne Institute of Technology and has completed his Professional Year to become a qualified Charted Accountant. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia.
Vanessa is a highly motivated professional with a comprehensive knowledge of the marketing, client services and compliance processes, gained by working in Australia, Japan, the United States and the United Kingdom. As Compliance Manager, Vanessa liaises with the Compliance Committee to brief them on all AIL Compliance issues. She ensures that AIL is meeting the requirements and standards set out in its Australian Financial Services Licence and the Compliance Plans for its Managed Investment Schemes. Prior to joining AIL, Vanessa spent six years working overseas in senior marketing positions for The AXA Group. In these roles she developed client relationship knowledge and marketing and business development programs. Vanessa has a Bachelor of Economics Degree (majoring in Economics and Marketing) from Monash University. She has also completed several courses in Marketing and compliance.
Rex is a very committed member of the AIL team. He is responsible for the work involved in obtaining water licences, liaising with the water authorities and working on special projects at the orchard site with Graham Johns (Orchard Manager). In addition, Rex regularly works with the finance team on asset expenditure and cashflow budgeting and forecasting for AIL and its Projects. Prior to joining AIL, Rex owned and managed different businesses and thus brings a wealth of commercial experience to the AIL team.
Paul Sheppard joined AIL in August 2006 as Client Services Manager. He is responsible for client services for investors from our 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008 and 2009 Projects and their Financial Advisers. Prior to joining AIL, Paul spent many years with Trust Company of Australia Limited, a publicly listed statutory Trustee Company. During his time with Trust, he held senior executive management positions in the areas of client services, funds management, corporate trusts and asset/portfolio management. He also obtained broad operational experience having headed up the Queensland and Victorian offices of the Company. Prior to leaving Trust he had national operational responsibility for one of the most profitable divisions of the Company with approx.$1.5bn funds under management and over 50 staff across three states. Paul brings a wealth of financial services experience and high professional standards to AIL which benefits all Investors.
Sue Jamison works as a part time Administrator at AIL. Sue has a management degree and has been working in the financial services field since 1998. Her career includes working with Executive Managers at the Trust Company of Australia, managing a Financial Planning office and personal assistant roles at financial planners. Sue enjoys working with the senior managers to achieve quality outcomes. Sue has a passion for getting the job done and is dedicated to AIL’s goal of providing the best Agri MIS investment offerings in the marketplace.
Danielle Briggs joined AIL in May 2009 as the company’s Business Support Officer. Danielle brings with her over 14 years of Bookkeeping and Administration experience within a wide range of industries. Danielle provides vital support to the Chief Financial Officer and enjoys the challenge of ensuring AIL’s accounts are kept in good order. When not in the office, she can often be found out and about Victoria shooting Landscape Photography. |
